Carrots

Carrots are a type of food that's orange and tastes good.

Time to harvest: 60-80 Days

Planting

The carrot seeds need to be spread out in garden soil in long rows that are 1 to 1.5 feet apart from each other. They need to be dropped into the soil 2-4 weeks before the last Spring frost. After planting, the seeds need to be covered with ΒΌ inch of compost, and then watered a bit.

Growth Guidelines

Carrots need to be watered twice a day for about 3-4 weeks, with about 1 inch of rainwater per week. When growing, the soil needs to be checked for weeds and the weeds need to be pulled out immediately. Additionally, the rows need to be thinned out during the season to ensure that the carrots are properly spaced out.
